A dream villa by Cases Xalo
In 2011 Cases Xalo were entrusted to build a villa for a British client. Not just any villa, this villa has been in design for years and was the dream villa.
We found the perfect plot of land. In a beautiful countryside location within easy walking distance to the village yet peaceful, as well as fulfilling the minimum requirements established by the local and regional planning authorities. The plot of land was over 10.000m2 and had plenty of almond trees, that in February would explode with purple, pink and white blossom-stunning.
After all the planning permisions had been granted the foundations were laid in February 2011. From the start the Cases Xalo building team gave their absolute 100% attention to this villa. The client was actively involved throughout the design and construction stage as well as being frequently seen on-site. As the villa went up certain details were added and modifications made (with the architects approval) to improve the distribution and esthetic appearance of the property. Just before Christmas 2011 the villa was finished, just leaving exterior touches to be made.
The client could not be happier with the end result and neither could we! The villa is a perfect blend of modern (stainless steel handrails) with traditional touches (stone well and wooden beams).
